Email Discussion and Announcement Lists
Get in touch with other riders.
There are several email lists that are available to the PA/NJ/DE/MD area medieval rider.
Depending on what kingdom you live in, you may want to be subscribed to your relevant Equestrian list. Click here to find out what Kingdom you reside in. (Personally, I'm subscribed to all three.)
The East Kingdom Equestrian List

The Atlantia Horse and Hound List

The Aethelmearc Equestrians List

There are also two regional lists that I find extremely relevant.
Endless Hills Equine - This is for riders in the Barony of Endless Hills (Northeastern Aethelmearc) and their friends.

East Kingdom Southern Region Equestrian List - this is a low-volume, pretty much announcements-only list for Eastrealm Southern Region riders and friends. I administer this list. I haven't pushed it much since the regular East Kingdom Equestrian list works well for the purpose, but it still exists for people who are searching for the local resources.

(I do not suggest you subscribe to the Yahoo group of a similar name - it is completely inactive and has loads of really nasty spam.)
You can also subscribe to the SCA Equestrian list - this one is all-Kingdom. To join the interkingdom SCA Equestrian Mailing list, send an e-mail to majordomo@midrealm.org with the subject 'subscribe sca-equine'.
You might also check out the Horse Guild. This group is non-SCA. They often have events in conjunction with Markland, and are a really nice group.
